Privacy Policy | Reprint Permission Policy

The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) may grant permission for reuse of copyrighted material on its website to outside individuals and organizations at its own discretion. No changes in, additions to, or deletions from the copied or reused material should be made without prior written approval of the AACME. Permission applies only to the material and use specified in correspondence. New requests should be made for subsequent use or for other uses of material.

AACME may change or adjust permission fees at its discretion based on the specific request and without prior notice.

All written requests must be e-mailed to Cynthia Mueller, Director of Internet Communications, at Cynthia.mueller@aaocme.org or faxed to 772-673-3331, using the Website Permissions/Reprints Request Form (available in a PDF file).


All requests should include:

The requesting organization's name, address, phone and fax numbers, and contact name.

Page title and URL of requested material.

Requested use for the material (e.g. book Presentation, Marketing literature, journal, newsletter,…etc), and whether the requester will be selling or making a profit from the material (e.g. selling a book, receiving an honorarium for a presentation).

 
 CME Accredited Organizations

Accredited organizations reusing website material for staff education will not be charged a permissions fee.

 
 Publications

AACME charges a nominal fee for reprinting information form its website based on the specific request. (See Permission Form)

Traditional media outlets and journalists reusing website material for a story will not be charged a permissions fee.

 
 Presentations

AACME charges a nominal fee for reprinting information form its website based on the specific request. (See Permission Form)

 
 Websites

AACME will individually evaluate requests to use AACME website material on another website. Other websites may link to our home page.
